The 2nd official Monday in 2024. I hope this 'Mindset Monday' finds you all doing well! What a week it has been already! I was on a bible study a few weeks ago and my Pastor was discussing with us the difference between being:
1. NICE vs KIND
Nice: <adjective.> pleasant, agreeable, satisfactory
The waitress was so NICE!
Kind: <adjective.> characterized by sympathy or forbearance, helpful nature
He was very KIND to us!
Here is the difference: Anyone can be nice. You can simply be in a good mood and want to do something nice for someone. BUT in order to be kind, one has to have a different sort of heart posture. You have to have a contrite heart to be kind and God has called his children to be kind all of the time! Being kind also comes with humility, gentleness, and patience! -Colossians 3:12
